Tea tree essential oil is a ‘must have’ for your home. It is a powerful antiseptic, as well as being stimulating, astringent and purifying. Interestingly, tea tree is used by the Australian Aborigines to cure wounds. In circa 1927, the oil came to Europe and has been a favourite remedy in first aid kits ever since. The oil was used in World War II Australian military first aid kits, and also in munitions factories for skin injuries.
