The G&G Pregnancy Pack contains a selection of carefully selected vitamin and mineral supplements to aid in foetal development* and to maintain the ideal balance of nutrients for an expectant mother. It is ideal for taking when trying to conceive, and throughout pregnancy.

WHY CHOOSE OUR DAILY SUPPLEMENT PACK?

We ensure that all of the health supplements that we formulate our perfectly balanced to work with the body, providing precise nutrient levels of certain vitamins and minerals. While it is possible to blend all of the supplements within our Pregnancy Pack into a single health supplement, this would remove a lot of the nutrients and balance that is provided from multiple supplements. Our daily supplement sachet provides a mixture of health supplements that are easy to manage and balanced correctly.

FOLIC ACID IN OUR PREGNANCY PACK

The Pregnancy Pack contains an extremely effective form of folic acid. Conventional folic acid is synthetic and is used in many vitamin supplements. We use L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (L-5-MTHF), which is the active form of folic acid and is found in nature. The folic acid found in food has to be digested to be absorbed, and then has to undergo several biochemical conversions in the body to become L-5-MTHF. By supplementing directly with L-5-MTHF (rather than synthetic folic acid), one can be assured of getting the benefits of folic acid, regardless of your ability to absorb or convert it to the active form.

*Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. the beneficial effect is obtained with a supplemental folic acid daily intake of 400 mcg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.

NEW GREENER PACKAGING

As part of our ongoing commitment to becoming a more sustainable supplement company, we've updated our daily pack packaging. We've got rid of the bulky plastic tubs and replaced them with biodegradable pouches. We've still had to keep the individual plastic sachets inside, as we are yet to find a solution that keeps the supplements fresh. We're working on it.

Each sachet contains the following supplements:

1x Vitamin B Complex Capsule
The B vitamin group are water-soluble, which means the body cannot store them. They must therefore be a standard part of the diet in order to avoid a deficiency. Our high-quality vitamin B-Complex health supplement is a blend of the essential B-vitamins in the ideal ratio for the human body. This includes the six numbered vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12).

1x Natural Beta-Carotene Capsule
Our natural beta-carotene supplement is made with Dunaliella salina, a type of micro-algae found in sea salt fields. To survive the salty conditions this micro-algae has high concentrations of beta-carotene to protect against the intense light. We harness the nutrition from the algae within a vegetarian capsule to create a natural healthy supplement that assists in the formation of vitamin A by the human body.

1x Vitamin D3 1000iu Capsule
Vitamin D is a fat-soluble nutrient produced naturally by the human body when exposed to the sun. Modern lifestyles have decreased the exposure we get to the sun, which has made it more important to monitor potential deficiency.

1x Vitamin C Complex Capsule
Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin and a potent antioxidant. The body cannot store vitamin C, which means it must be a standard part of the diet in order to avoid a deficiency. We use a blend of pure vitamin C powder (ascorbic acid) to form our supplement.

1x Natural Vitamin E 400iu Capsule
Vitamin E is a well-known fat-soluble antioxidant. It comes in eight forms, some of which are synthetic, while others are naturally obtained. We use D-Alpha Tocopherol Succinate in our vitamin E supplement. This a natural form of vitamin E.

1x Mineral Multi Capsule
Mineral Multi provides a unique blend of 13 essential minerals within a single supplement capsule.

1x Magnesum (citrate) Capsule
Magnesium is an elemental mineral that is essential for cellular function. Our Magnesium (citrate) supplement provides 125mg of elemental magnesium (citrate) within a vegan capsule. We've used magnesium (citrate) in our supplement. Magnesium (citrate) is a magnesium preparation in salt form with citric acid, which is easily absorbed by the body.

1x Folate (5-MTHF) 400mcg Capsule
Folic Acid is a water-soluble nutrient that is part of the vitamin B complex family. It is essential to the formation of red blood cells. Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status.

2x Prenatal DHA Algae Capsules
