G&G's Turmeric & Curcumin is a blend of turmeric root and turmeric extract which provides 95% curcuminoids - the highest concentration available. Some curcumin products use an extract which provides 85% curcuminoids. Curcumin is the constituent of turmeric that contains all the beneficial properties. In food sources of turmeric, curcumin only amounts to 3%.

To further increase curcumin, black pepper extract is included as it is renowned for increasing bioavailability of turmeric. Ginger has also been added to the formula, as part of the turmeric family as it exerts similar and complementary effects.
